On Jan 1, nearly 50 children and parents gathered near Sri Kapali Temple, Mylapore for an early morning walk around the Mada streets.
While the group sang bhajans, young girls and women danced all along. Later, a talk was given on the history of Mylapore. The event, organised by the Mylapore Trio, Sugathan and members of Sri Sumukhi Rajasekharan Memorial Foundation, ended with the distribution of prasadam and a visit to the temple.
