Sri Tirtha Narayana Swamigal Aradhana Celebration Committee (Regd.) in association with Thirupoonthuruthy Sri Narayana Tirtha Swamigal Trust (Regd.) will be conducting its 22nd Nama Sankeerthana Taranga Music Festival of Sri Narayana Tirtha Swamigal from Nov 24-26 at Asthika Samajam, Alwarpet.
The event will be inaugurated by S. Sundar, founder member and treasurer of DS Special Children Welfare Association, on Nov 24 at 5 p.m. A performance by Neyveli R. Santhanagopalan and nama sankeerthana bhajan by Udayalur Kalyanarama Bhagavathar and group will follow.
Highlights include performances by flautist J. A. Jayanth, harikatha by Thippirajapuram B. Ravindran, upanyasam by Sundar Kumar on ‘Sri Ramanujar’ and namasankeethanam bhajan by O. S. Arun and group.
On the last day, the title of ‘Namasankeerthana Seva Ratna’ will be conferred on O. S. Sundar. Tarangam winners will receive prizes from T. Nanda Kumar, associate vice president, Infosys, Chennai.
