The Pezhalvar utsavam is on at Sri Adi Kesava Perumal Temple, Mylapore till Oct 31. A thirumanjanam will be held for the deity (utsavar) in the morning everyday. Other events include the sesha vahanam on Oct 24, mena pallaku on Oct 25, surya prabhai and chandra prabhai on Oct 27, yaanai vahanam on Oct 28 and Thiruther on Oct 29.
On Oct 30, the celebrations will start at 5 a.m. and will end at 3 a.m. on Oct 31. Highlights include a thirumanjanam for Sri Pezhalvar (moolavar) in the morning, followed by thiruppavai sevai and upanyasam in the evening. Theertham and prasadam will be distributed at 3 a.m.
