Workers were seen cleaning the cemetery at St. Mary’s Road today morning in preparation for All Souls Day which will be observed on Nov. 2.
The graves are blessed on that day and a Holy Mass will be held. A similar service will also be held at Quibble Island cemetery at R. A. Puram.
On All Souls Day, Christians remember and offer prayers to the departed.
