The Mylapore Trio and Sugathan conducted their 14th year kolu workshop “Navarathri Kolu Paddhathi” at their residence at Mandaveli on Sep 18. 25 students from Lady Sivaswami Girls School, Mylapore attended the two-hour lec-dem.
The students, who were thrilled to see the kolu, learnt the nuances of putting up a kolu thematically and aesthetically.
The workshop, which was held for students of classes IX and XI, also dealt with various aspects of tradition, culture, history and the stories and dolls related to Mylapore.
