Brinda Repertory is organising an event to celebrate Veenai Dhanammal’s 150th anniversary from Aug 6 – 9 at Raga Sudha Hall, Luz. On Aug 6 an audio-visual presentation on the Dhanammal Bani will be given by Sri Barath Sundar. Her portrait will be unveiled by T. Surendra Babu and Rajathi Babu.
Concerts will be given by Chitravina N. Ravikiran, P. Vasanth Kumar and the trustees of Brinda Repertory, A. Hariharan, Aruna Ranganathan and Tiruvarur Girish. At the valedictory function on Aug 9, a speech will be given by T. Yadhav Shankaran.
