Foodies are not yet giving the thumbs up to the famed idli-sambhar combo at Triplicane Ratna Cafe’s restaurant which opened on South Mada Street recently.
Many foodies who have enjoyed the combo at the Cafe’s Triplicane joint for years say that the combo is far off the quality they enjoyed in the past.
Some say the quality of the tiffin is average because of the quality of the oil that is used in the cooking.
Though there is a steady flow of diners here, the floor management leaves must to be desired. The men supervisors are not alert while some women stewards have to run up and down to serve customers and often leave some clients staring at the roof for some time.
