The second edition of Ampersand, Chettinad Vidyashram’s inter school debate competition was held in association with Crea Shakthi on Aug 4 and 5. With a multitude of ancillary events like JAM, journalism and split personality, the event served as a platform for budding orators to showcase their skills.
The chief guest was Vikram Ravi Ramanathan, director of operations and client services, Unmetric.
Students from several city schools lent their voice through boldly presented facts. The intense competition, however did not deter students from exchanging ideas or forging friendships.
At the closing ceremony, students of P. S. Senior Secondary School, Mylapore were awarded the first prize at the parliamentary debate competition.
