It was a proud moment for a group of seniors who had gathered at the Russian Centre for Science and Culture at Alwarpet on June 18. Their very own Probus Club had turned 25, they were there to look back and cherish the moments that passed.
The chief guest was former chief election commissioner T. S. Krishnamurthy. A souvenir was released by Nalli Kuppuswamy Chetti, the first copy of which was received by Dr. Arulmozhi Varman, president,
Rotary Club of Madras.
The club has been actively engaging its members through the years. In addition to organising competitions and conducting events for seniors, they also undertake charitable activities such as distribution of scholarships to students, free medical camps, flood relief and so on.
