– The 97th annual Aadi festival at Sri Muthumariyamman Temple at Alwarpet Street junction will be held from Aug 11. A special aradhanai and abhishekam will be held on that day. On Aug 13, devotees will carry 108 milk pots from Sri Aalayamman Temple to Sri Muthumariyamman Temple for an abhishekam for the deity.
