On June 19, the Rotary Club of Madras East (RCME) in association with Rotary Club of San Antonio, USA, provided pneumatic and hydraulic training kits worth Rs. 37 lakhs to Ramakrishna Mission Polytechnic College, Mylapore.
The chief guest was Sunil Paliwal, principal secretary, higher education department, Govt. of TN. On this occasion,the automation laboratory was also renamed as the Rotary Club of Madras East Automation Laboratory.
District rotary governor Natarajan Nagoji, Sudarsan Ranganathan, secretary, Nalluru Papa Rao, director, vocational services, P. E Ramakrishnan, director, The Rotary Foundation and Radhika Sathyanarayana, Global Grant Chair were present along with other rotarians.
