In lieu of the ongoing Metro Water work at V. C. Garden First Street, Mandaveli, new traffic regulations have been issued by P. S. Senior Secondary School, Mylapore to facilitate the smooth movement of vehicles.
The principal Lakshmi Srinivasan says “A meeting was held with Mylapore MLA R. Nataraj and the police authorities in the second week of May regarding this. In the morning and afternoon, the eastern gate of the school at R. K. Mutt Road, Mylapore will now be used as an entry and exit point for two-wheelers and cars only. Cyclists, walkers and parents using autos will have to use the main gate at Alamelumangapuram”.
“This system was implemented today morning and we did not have any problems. The arrangements have been updated on our website and we have sent messages to all the parents too”, adds Lakshmi.
