At the Insight Innovation Exchange (North America) Conference, Pravin Shekar, Chairman & CEO of KREA, was honored with the Ginny Valentine Badge of Courage Award.
Krea provides skills/training and employment for people with disabilities (which constitutes 55% of Krea’s associates). Pravin / Krea was awarded for “taking positive discrimination towards disability to awesome levels”.
Starting with two visually challenged resources in 2010, Krea, till date has provided employment to over 45 people with disabilities across all market research function: desk research by the hearing impaired, telephone interviews/quality control by the visually challenged, PowerPoint reports by the physically challenged; and gainful employment for those with a lack of fine motor skills in sending out incentives and reminders.
Pravin has earlier won the “4 Under 40: Emerging leader in Marketing Research” award from the American Marketing Association.
