Vasudha Prakash, the founder and director of V-Excel Educational Trust, a special school located at Thiruvengadam Street, R. A. Puram, was honoured with the Princess Haya Award for special education (Outstanding management category) at an event held at Dubai recently.
The award was launched by Princess Haya in 2008 with an aim to promote creativity and excellence in the special needs sector.
According to a press statement, the award was presented to Vasudha Prakash by Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein, the wife of Sheikh Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the vice president and Prime Minister of UAE.
