The class XII CBSE results were announced yesterday (May 28) morning. Yesterday being a holiday, most of the students dropped into school today morning to meet their teachers and catch up with their friends.
At Vidya Mandir, Mylapore, principal Shoba Raman is very happy with the results. “This year, our highest marks are 491 in the commerce group and 490 in science. We got two centums in maths and two in biology. A student also scored full marks in chemistry, this usually happens once in blue moon”.
“Our biggest surprise were the children who did below average in class. Even they managed to score 60% in these exams”, she adds.
At P. S. Senior Secondary School, Mylapore, principal Lakshmi Srinivasan says the results were better than expected this year. She says, “More than 120 students out of 138 have scored above 80% and more than 30 students have scored more than 95%”.
The class X ICSE results were announced today (May 29) afternoon. At Grove school, Alwarpet, all the students obtained first class with distinction for the sixth consecutive year, says principal S. M. Sujatha.
