The Saraswathi Educational, Cultural and Charitable Trust, which has been running a dance festival for more than 15 years, will be conducting the Vasant Utsav of Dance at Sri Kapali Temple, Mylapore from May 1 – 12 this year.
At the inaugural function to be held on May 1, the guests Satyabrata Sahoo, chairman and managing director, TN Industrial Investment Corporation and P. N. Vasudevan, managing director, Equitas Bank will honour dancers and scholars for their contribution.
Disciples of several gurus including Sasirekha Rammohan, Jigyasa Giri, Sailaja and Yamini Muthanna will be performing at the event. At 6 p.m. Ph: 9566209426.
