Films on water is a project by Embrace our Rivers and hosted by Goethe – Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan, Chennai. The objective is to enable people to enjoy short documentaries and feature films on water in different venues all over the city, to create awareness about water and its different meanings. On Apr 17, Invisible Needness, a documentary by Gerard Franquesa at 7.30 p.m. followed by K. Balachander’s epic film Thaneer Thaneer. On Apr 18, Das Águas Que Passam, documentary by Diego Zon at 7.30 p.m. followed by Vandana Shiva – Seeds and Seedmultinationals, a documentary by Bertram Verhaag & Gabriele Kröber.
