SBCC women’s group, a cancer support group functioning under Sai Balaji Cancer Clinic, Mylapore, recently celebrated their second anniversary. The aim of this group is to provide psychological support and counselling to women cancer patients treated at this clinic, and elsewhere.
The activities of this group, which was formed in Feb. 2015, include teaching yoga mudhra, relaxation and anger, stress management techniques, emotional freedom technique and classes for acupressure, breast self examination, aromatherapy and laughter therapy sessions. All these services are provided free of cost to its members. A whatsapp group (Ph. No. 9884465945) to share beneficial facts is functioning as well.
Nutrition and cooking expert Annam Senthilkumar was the chief guest at the event held on Mar. 25 at
Sangeetha Residency, Mylapore. About 200 people attended the meeting. Games for its members and
talent show for children were conducted.
