Work on designing and constructing the float for the teppam at Sri Kapali Temple has begun. Workers have built the base of the float at one end of the temple tank, in the waters.
The top structure will be in place soon and the decorations will begin on the eve of the annual thai poosam festival here. The fest is from Feb. 10 to 12.
