Thooimai-Padai (Go clean-green warriors), a volunteer group under the Kapaleecharam commitee is carrying out a ‘Say no to plastics’ campaign today (Feb.24) and tomorrow in front of Sri Kapaleeswarar Temple, Mylapore. The team will interact with vendors and distribute paper bags, banana leaves and net bags for them to use. A rally and a street play by folk artistes will also be held.
