School Admissions: An update

Several schools have started issuing application forms for the new academic year. A brief summary of admission processes at some local area schools.

Calibre Academy International School has started issuing application forms for classes LKG to X. For details contact the school at 28, Seethammal Road, Alwarpet. Ph: 42658551, 24987012.

This is a CBSE school. For LKG under the general category (non -RTE), only online applications will be given. The application can be downloaded from the website www.vidya-mandir.edu.in on Feb. 6 and 7, from 8 a.m. to 12 noon on both days. The filled application along with the support documents have to be dropped in the boxes kept at the school premises by 3 p.m. on Feb. 10.

RTE applications for LKG will be available at the school office, free of cost from Feb. 6. to Feb. 10. The counter will be open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on each of these days. Filled in documents must be submitted to the school office by 3 p.m. on Feb. 13. Verification of applications and documents will begin from Feb. 14 and the list of selected candidates will be displayed on Mar. 20.

For classes UKG to class XI, applications will be available at the school office from Mar. 1 to Mar. 3 between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. on each day. The applications must be filled and dropped into the boxes kept at the school premises by Mar. 8, 3 p.m. Admission for these classes is subject to vacancy.
