Two students of San Thome Higher Secondary School, San Thome have made their school proud. Aksheya Preeya. R, a student of class X, has secured the first place in Javeline at the junior state athletic meet held at Cuddalore and at the Republic Day sports meet held at Srivilliputhur recently. At both these events, she covered a distance of 30.63 mts.
Mourish. B, a student of class XI, secured the first place in the 100 metres dash at both the Junior nationals held at Karim Nagar-Telangana and the Junior State athletic meet held at Cuddalore. He was also awarded the silver medal for high jump at the Junior State athletic meet held at Krishnagiri recently.
