A new cultural space opens on Saturday evening, January 21 in R. A. Puram. Wandering Artist is to be a centre which aims to provide training to people of all ages in dance, music, theatre, fine arts, photography, creative writing and many more such pursuits in the months to come. Maybe even a kolam project.
This centre is on 6th Main Road.
Its promoter, Sriram Ayer says it’s also a space for performances, co-working and a cafe. Profits from the centre would support NalandaWay Foundation, which supports and is involved in a variety of projects for children and youth.
At the launch this Saturday, the place hosts a performance by pianist Anil Srinivasan. He would be playing some evergreen numbers of Ilayaraja. He will be joined by Shravan on the violin.
Seats are limited so guests are asked to come by early. Time: 7 pm, Saturday
