The 164th birthday celebrations of Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi were held on Dec. 20 at Sri Ramakrishna Math, Mylapore. Special pujas were held for Sri Ramakrishna in the morning followed by homams and a special arati at noon.
Prizes were distributed to the participants of the short story competition held by ‘Sri Ramakrishna Vijayam’, the Tamil monthly of the Math. 700 people participated in this competition which was held in connection with the 150th birth year of Sister Nivedita, one of the foremost disciples of Swami Vivekananda.
