The spirit of Christmas is in the air; you can get a feel of it in the San Thome neighbourhood.
On Sunday evening, members of the Golden Years Club are hosting a Christmas dinner at the home of one of the members.
A few members are bringing in the food for the party to lend it a community feel, said Beatrix D’ Souza, former MP and a Club member.
The Club has 25-plus members, mostly seniors. It meets once a month at the St Bede’s School campus, San Thome for fellowship. Sometimes, a guest speaker anchors the meeting.
