On Dec 10, the members of the Old Bedeans Association (OBA) organised their annual Christmas treat for the boarders and poor day scholars at St. Bede’s School, San Thome. 135 students were given backpacks costing Rs. 750 each as gifts.
The event started off with carol singing by the members and the boarders. Later, a Christmas message was given by Mike Muralidharan, chairman of Ethiraj College and a past pupil of the school. A delicious dinner followed accompanied by live music from some past pupils.
Present at the event were Fr. Bosco, the rector, Philip Rajan – president of OBA and Davis Thomas the secretary of the association.
