Sri Kapaleeswarar Temple, Mylapore
At Sri Kapali Temple, Mylapore, the celebrations are on till Nov 6. On Nov 5, the festivities will start off with the ther in the evening followed by Soora Samhaaram at North Mada Street, Mylapore. On Nov 6, an ekadina laksharchanai will be held in the morning and the thirukalyanam utsavam will be held in the evening at 7 p.m.
Sri Virupakeeshwarar Temple, Bazaar Road, Mylapore
On Nov 5, Soora Samharam will be held for the deity in the evening. On Nov 6, a laksharchanai will be held in the morning followed by the thirukalyanam utsavam and veedi purappadu in the evening.
Sri Malleeswarar Temple, Bazaar Road, Mylapore
On Nov 5, a visesha abhishekam, sahasranama archanai and aradhanai will be held in the evening. On Nov 6, a kalasa puja (11 kalasams) will be held in the morning and the thirukalyana utsavam will be held in the evening followed by maha deepa aradhanai.
Sri Karaneeswarar Temple, Bazaar Road, Mylapore
On Nov 5, an ekadina laksharchanai will be held from 8 a.m. On Nov 6, the thirukalyanam utsavam will held in evening followed by a veedi purappadu. Special abhishekams will be held in the morning on both the days.
