The Pezhalvar Avatar Utsavam is currently on at two temples in the neighbourhood – Sri Adi Kesava Perumal Temple and Sri Madhava Perumal Temple at Mylapore. The festivities will continue till Nov 10.
At Sri Adi Kesava Perumal Temple, devotees were seen carrying the deity on a veedi purappadu on the Simha (lion) vahanam today morning. Garuda Sevai will be held tomorrow and ther on Nov 8.
