Veteran AIADMK leader and wife of late V. R. Nedunchezhian, Dr. Visalakshi Nedunchezhian, passed away on Nov 14. She was 92.
Visalakshi was a gynecologist by profession, and retired as Deputy Director, Health Services, in 1982.
Visalakshi headed the Tamil Nadu Commission for Women till January, 2016. She was also the party’s organisational secretary. The family residence is in Seethammal Colony, Alwarpet.
