To commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Sister Nivedita, Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda College in association with Sri Ramakrishna Math, Mylapore is organising an event on Oct 25 at the college campus. A book in Tamil containing 150 episodes connected with the life of Sister Nivedita titled ‘Niveditai Nutraimbadu’ will be released.
The chief guest Veena. E. Gayathri, vice chancellor, Tamil Nadu Music and Fine Arts University will release the book, the first copy of which will be received by the guest of honour Dr. Nalli Kuppuswami Chetti. Swami Gautamanandaji Maharaj, Adhaksha of Sri Ramakrishna Math, Chennai will preside over the function. At P. S. Sivaswami Salai, Mylapore, 4.30 p.m.
