Senior Citizens Support Forum is celebrating the ‘International Day of the Elderly’ on Oct 15 at
the Russian Centre of Science and Culture, Alwarpet. Chief guest V. Kalyanam, former secretary to
Mahatma Gandhi, will present the platinum and golden jubilee awards to seniors who have completed
75 years and members who have completed fifty years of married life.
P. R. Gokula Krishnan, former chief justice of Gujarat High Court, will honour seniors aged 90 and
above with the nonagenarian awards. B. S. Raghavan, former chief secretary of Tripura Govt., will
present a memento to Dr. V. G. Santhosam for the receipt of ‘Veeramamunivar Virudhu- 2016’. At 74,
