Dr. Lakshmi Ramaswamy’s Sri Mudhraalaya has come out with a dance production titled ‘Deepam Yetruvom’. This is being staged today, Oct 26, at TAG Dakshinamurthy Auditorium at 6.30 p.m.
V.V. Subramaniam, former principal RKM Vivekananda College will be the chief guest. Sudha Seshayyan and K. Ayyanar will be the guests of honour. The lyrics for the production have been penned by S. Raghuraman, music by Vanaty Raghuraman and choreography by Lakshmi Ramaswamy.
The production connects mythological stories to current times and tries to contemplate the question of good and bad and relevance of celebrating festivals.
