Sundaram Finance has been formally given the order by Chennai Corporation to maintain Nageswara Rao Park, Luz.
The order was handed over to the company’s MD, T. T. Srinivasaraghavan by Mylapore MLA, R. Nataraj after the Sunday morning ‘mike less’ concert at the park’s Chess Square – on Sept.4.
The company had maintained this popular park for many years but the formal contract was not renewed some years ago so the company could not undertake small plans it has for this green space.
