The Madras Sanskrit College in association with other organisations is celebrating ‘Sanskrit Day’ at its premises today. R. K. Raghavan, former director, CBI, will preside and honour the recipients of ‘Certificate of Honour’ for Sanskrit.
Dr. Viswanatha Gopalakrishna, awardee, will talk on the ‘Importance of Sanskrit’. Dr. Sita Sundar Ram, secretary, The Sanskrit Academy, will give a special address. At 84, R. H. Road, Mylapore, 11 a.m. onwards.
