Metrowater completed its work on P. S. Sivaswamy Salai, Mylapore on July 31 and Chennai Corporation relaid the road but users say it is bumpy and uneven and it shows to be a hurried road relaying job.
The road has been closed since late last year after sewer pipelines of Metrowater here developed mayo problems.
The busy road which takes a huge volume of traffic had to be closed for repairs undertaken by Metrowater.
Residents here also want police to clear the road of taxis parked by local operators, most of which are parked on pavements and remain here 24×7.
