Two hawkers have set up their stalls at North Mada Street, Mylapore to sell golu dolls for the Navarathri festival which will begin at the end of this month.
In additional to the traditional idols of the deities Krishna, Durga, Shiva, Vishnu and Ganesha, a few new idols of Dr. Abdul Kalam and Mother Theresa have also made their way into the market.
The number of stalls are expected to increase over the weekend after the rains subside.
