A 13 year old boy and resident of Abhiramapuram committed suicide by hanging himself on Aug 10 after undergoing few days of depression following the suicide of his friend in the neighbourhood last week. According to police sources, the depression was accentuated by his mom shouting at him for not attending school.
It is said that the stress the single mother had to go through, having been separated from her husband, had always put her in a position to be extra strict with him.
