On Aug 28, Dr. G. Gnanasambandan, Tamizh literary luminary, Thiagarajar College, Madurai will confer the T. S. Balakrishna Sastrigal Award of Excellence on Dr. Thiruppur Krishnan, editor, Amudhasurabi at an event celebrating the 97th jayanthi of T. S. Balakrishna Sastrigal.
A live recording of TSB’s harikatha will be screened and an audio-CD combo pack will be released. At Tattvaloka Hall, Eldams Road, 2.30 p.m.
