An Essay Writing Contest on BRICS has been organised by the Russian Federation. This year the project opens a new season of the program to young professionals for short-term study tours in Russia.
It is a good opportunity to exchange professional experiences with colleagues from around the world. Young Students can participate by writing an essay on their point of view about BRICS (Objectives, Summits, Need and Disparities). A maximum of 3 pages is allowed for the contest. The participants can send their essays to brics@rcsc.in and the last date for sending the essays is 16th August 2016.
A High Jury led by the Consul General of the Russian Federation will select the best 5 essays. The result will be announced on our website http://www.rcsc.in and also on our Facebook page.
An event will be organised for the selected candidates in the 1st week of September in Chennai and they will have to briefly explain their essays to the Juries. The best candidate will be selected for the main event which will be conducted on 30th September 2016 in Moscow, and this will be followed by a short-term study tour by ‘New Generation’ for the selected candidates from across the world. The trip will be sponsored for the candidate and will include travel expenses, food, accommodation, guides and translators.
Eligibility:
Professionals between the age of 25 and 35 years are eligible to participate.
College students less than the age of 25 years can also participate, but the selected winner will be awarded during the event organised by BRICS Generation organisation in Chennai only.
