Kauvery Hospital, Alwarpet launched its Advanced Diabetic Care Centre on Aug 19 at The Music Academy, Alwarpet.
Tamil scholar and orator Sukisivam inaugurated the centre and also launched the advanced annual diabetes management programme. Several services to diabetic patients including an annual comprehensive diabetic package, quarterly consultations with diabetologists and quarterly assessment of the blood glucose levels (HbA1C) are offered under this programme.
Dr. Aravindan Selvaraj, executive director of the hospital, was one of the attendees.
