Brahma Gana Sabha, in association with P S Institute for Music Art and Culture (PSIMAC) will be conducting a music festival for 10 days starting from July 17 to 26 at TAG-PS Dakshinamurthy Hall (P. S. High School) in Mylapore. The festival will be inaugurated by N. Gopalaswami, Chairman Kalakshetra Foundation at 4.45 p.m. The 10 day Nalli Aadi Isai Vizha features leading singers like T. V. Sankaranarayanan, O. S. Thiagarajan, Vijay Siva, T. M. Krishna, Nithyashree , Sowmya and others. There will be two concerts daily, at 4.45 p.m. and at 6.45 p.m.
On July 20, T.V. Sankaranarayanan, an Alumnus of P.S.High School will be honoured for his service to Carnatic music. R.NatAraj. IPS Retd and MLA Mylapore, will be the chief guest on that day.
Brahma Gana Sabha will conduct its annual Nalli Aadi Naatya Vizha from July 17 to 24 at Sivagami Pethachi Audotorium, Mylapore. The function will be inaugurated by V. V. Sundaram. The seven day festival features young upcoming artists from India, U.S and the Middle East.
