The 61st Prize Day celebrations were held at Vidya Mandir, Mylapore on June 18. Prof. R. Ramanujam, Institute of Mathematical Sciences was the chief guest. Awards were presented to six teachers for having completed thirty years of service and to 5 teachers for having completed twenty years of service.
Prizes were also distributed to the class XII toppers including Parasuraman. S who scored 486/500, Lavanya. M, who secured the second place with a score of 483/500 and Adhitya Viswananth, who secured the third place with a score of 480/500. Subject toppers and outstanding students of other classes also received prizes at this event.
