V-excel Educational Trust is offering two courses at its premises at R. A. Puram. The first is a three month weekend certificate course on learning disabilities for teachers, special educators, parents and others from July 16- Sep 18.
Topics like child observation, assessments,report writing, teaching strategies for language, math, skill based remediation and associated therapies like movement therapy and art therapy will be covered.
The second is a secondary NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) course (equivalent to Xth grade) for students. Secondary NIOS courses (equivalent to XIIth grade) will be offered soon. Students who have completed 14 years of age are eligible to join this course.
School students who have attended formal schooling but have not be able to complete their class X exams can now do so through the the NIOS platform.
