Eight leading universities from the Russian Federation will participate in the 17th Russian Universities Education Fair to be held at The Russian Centre of Science and Culture, Alwarpet on May 7 and 8.
According to a press release, 20 full-time scholarships will be offered to Indian students in the areas of information technology, nuclear engineering and medicine this year. As part of the Russian Government’s initiative to make five of their universities feature in the list of top 100 educational institutions in the world by 2020, a commission of Russian officials would take up the task of inspecting the universities to ensure that the facilities provided to foreign students are adequate, added the press release.
