The kumbabhishekam of Sri Virupaksheeswarar Temple at Bazaar Road, Mylapore will be held on May 11. Renovations, including desilting of the temple tank, have been done. The southern side of the temple will now have a new rajagopuram.
At the temple, preparations are in full swing for the poojas to be held on that day. The consecration ceremony is being held at the temple after 18 years.
