About 50 devotees, including senior citizens and children, participated in the Garuda Sevai celebrations held at Sri Madhava Perumal Temple, Mylapore today morning (May 2). The festivities were held as part of the Chitirai Thiruvonam festival going on at the temple since April 30.
Future events include the Sesha vahanam on May 3 at 7.30 p.m., Nachiyar Thirukolam on May 4 at 7 a.m. Yaanai vahanam on May 5 at 7.30 p.m., Thiruther on May 6 at 8 a.m. and poo pallaku on May 8 at 7 p.m. For details contact the temple at 24985112.
