Learn Sanskrit
The Sanskrit College, Mylapore is going to conduct Vishnu Sahasranamam, Lalitha Saharanamam, Adithya Hridayam, Bhagavad Gita and santi mantra classes for children aged 10 – 15 years from May 2 – 11 at the college premises. 10 a.m. onwards. To register contact the college office at 24980421.
Film-Making Camp
Mantra events is organising a short-film making camp for children above eight years from April 25 – 30 and May 1 – 7. During the first two days, participants will attend a pre-production session and will learn how to choose a story, scriptwriting, storyboarding, location scouting, acting, directing and production designs. Sloka Chanting, yoga
Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Mylapore is organising a summer camp for children aged 8 – 13 years from May 2 – 13 and from May 16 – 27. Topics covered include sloka chanting, yoga and meditation, art and craft, indoor games, handwriting skills and fireless cooking. 9.30 a.m. onwards. Choral Singing
M. B. Srinivasan’s Youth choir is conducting a summer camp on choral singing for adults and children aged 5 to 12 years at Mylapore. Storytelling and team building will also be taught. Cartooning
Rahnu Cartoon Research and Educational Trust is conducting a drawing and cartooning camp for children aged 6 – 14 years at P. S. School, Mylapore from May 8 – 10.
