NGO Thuvakkam has taken up the responsibility of maintaining the streets for the entire duration of the Panguni festival. On Monday night (March 21), volunteers will take to the street to clean up the mess after the Arubathimoovar festival.
The event will be held in association with Bhumi, Mylapore Residents Welfare Association and Chennai Corporation.
The clean up event starts at 9 p.m. at North Mada Street (near Indian Bank). Volunteers are needed. Those interested can contact 9789958042, 9940394638.
