This morning ( March 16), it was time for the adhikara nandi vahanam procession of the gods as part of the Panguni festival celebrated at Sri Kapali Temple, Mylapore. Though it started at dawn, there were only a few hundred people in Sannidhi Street and on East Mada Street, to be part of the celebration.
