The Golden Years Club celebrates its fifth anniversary on March 13, Sunday at a hall at St Bede’s School, San Thome.
The Club made up of seniors who live in the San Thome neighborhood meets every month, has an attendance of 20 to 30 people and is informal in nature. It sometimes hosts a speaker for the meet. Games and potluck snacking is a feature of the meet held at spaces inside St Bede’s campus.
On March 13 meeting starts with Mass at 11 a.m., games and fun and lunch, the latter contributed by some members who will bring cooked food from their homes.
